The recent acquisition of the former Copper Cliff Hospital and Inco office building by a local developer has brought new life and excitement to the re-development potential of the building and site.  Perry + Perry Architects have since been retained to provide their unique design insight and to administrate the re-development of the historic building into a state-of-the-art retirement home for the aging population of our community. 

 
   
 

 The project will include extensive modifications to the building including a new kitchen and dining/lounge facilities as well as extensive improvements to the remainder of the existing building and site to reflect the needs and expectations of the residents. 

Design and planning is scheduled for the winter of 2004 with renovations commencing in the following spring.  The building’s location, setting and architecture clearly support the new use as a retirement home for the Greater City of Sudbury.  We are eager and anxious to share our design and development ideas with this project.  Stay tuned for further updates
