The main objective of the Hornepayne RCSS Board was to design a facility the nurtures and promotes a positive and progressive Catholic education in harmony with the most current trends in education.

The plan is generated from the form of a crucifix with it's centre acting as an organizational element from which program functions radiate. This point of space also acts as the hinge between two intersecting street grids which orientates the building facades in a manner that best presents itself to the site, streets, and reinforces the public awareness to the community.
